For girls' leagues, the divisions are by grade,
typically 5-6 , 7-8, JV, and Varsity.
For determining league champions or seeding, the
following guidelines are followed:
Team with most points is the winner (however, in the
event of an imbalance of games played between the teams, winning
percentage will be used).
If still tied, head to head competition will determine
the winner.
If still tied, least goals scored against will determine
the winner.
If still tied, most goals scored will determine the
winner.
If still tied, co-champions will be honored.
In the event of seeding across one or more leagues, head
to head will be skipped when determining seeding or placement, as the
teams did not play in the regular season.
